Introduction
The Undergraduate Scholarship has traditionally been the backbone of the Foundation—the primary reason the Foundation was first set up. Intended to benefit Malaysian students from low-income families, the Foundation believes that providing scholarships is about providing opportunities – giving a chance for students to have the higher education necessary to come into their own and be the next generation of leaders and captains of industries.
Deadline: 1 April - 1 June 2018

In 2014, the Foundation expanded its scholarship offering to include a Master’s Scholarship programme as well as an education development programme for low-income students from challenging backgrounds who have obtained a minimum of 3As in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations.

The Master's Scholarship programme aims to provide opportunities to one of the top 200 universities of the world, as per Times Higher Education ranking, for students who have demonstrated both academic excellence and the potential to become leaders, decision-makers and entrepreneurs. We seek young Malaysians who possess the Hong Leong Group values of integrity, tenacity, acumen, foresight and humility.
Deadline:(TBA)

The The ROAR – Reach Out and Rise - Education Development programme will provide full tuition fees, room, board, and an intensive enrichment programme to selected scholars to enable them to complete tertiary-level education in selected diploma courses, which, upon completion of pre-requisites, will lead to degree courses. This programme is intended for students who are academically-inclined but are from at-risk and highly impoverished backgrounds, and who have the interest and desire to succeed academically through a structured support programme. [This programme is not intended for high-scoring SPM leavers who are better suited for STPM or Foundation courses, which lead directly to degree programmes.]
